Artist's Comments
This is the first image in the series called "Consumption" which depicts how the human id is inherently selfish and the act of self indulgence is at the cost of others... "Original Sin" references the genesis story of evil being brought into the world when Eve bites into the forbidden fruit... While Eve indulges herself in tasting the forbidden fruit the rest of us are given the burden of sin... This image has already recieved 6th place in the International Adobe Digital Imaging Competition out of thousands of entries on [link] and also has recieved a merit award and was exhibited in the International Digital Imaging Exhibition (Sony) in San Diego earlier this year (2006).
